Reading and searching
This version does not use third-party advertising or analytics scripts, and it does not ask for a reading account. Search runs against content bundled with the site. Search terms appear in the URL and may therefore be included in routine hosting logs.
Saved stories
Saved story identifiers use localStorage in your browser. They are not sent to a Riveam account or synced to another device. Use Clear saved stories or your browser’s site-data settings to remove them. Private browsing or disabled storage may prevent saving.
Contact messages
If you submit the contact form, your name, email address, selected topic, and message are processed by this website’s server and forwarded to the configured Riveam contact mailbox. Those details are used to handle your correspondence. Do not include sensitive personal information.
Basic form protection
The contact endpoint uses a short-lived session for rate limiting and a hidden field to reduce automated submissions. If JavaScript is enabled, a short-lived form token is also used. Session cookies are set when the endpoint is used; they are not advertising cookies.
Hosting and email providers
The hosting and email providers may process routine technical logs and messages under their own policies. Riveam’s site code does not keep a separate contact-message database. Email delivery and retention depend on the mailbox and hosting configuration.
Local assets and outside links
Images, icons, styles, and scripts are served from this site. No external font service is required. If you follow an official resource or photo-credit link, the other website’s privacy practices apply.

Use the Contact page for a privacy question or a request relating to a message you submitted. Provide enough context to locate the correspondence without including unnecessary private information.
